No primary data are older than five years and no generic datasets used are older than ten years. The representativeness, completeness, reliability and consistency of the collected data were assessed as good. The background data were obtained from the Ecoinvent v.3.11 database, supplemented, where appropriate, with specific data provided by suppliers. A specific Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data quality analysis was carried out as part of the input data verification. The allocation procedure applied in this EPD follows the general principles specified in ITB PCR A. Input and output data collected for the manufacturing process were allocated to the declared product groups on a mass basis, according to their share in the total production of the manufacturing plant. The environmental impacts of the declared products were subsequently calculated using the material composition and process data specific to each declared product group. All relevant input and output data associated with the production of the declared products were included in the assessment. The LCA model comprises raw materials, auxiliary materials, fuels, electricity, water consumption, transport, emissions and waste generated during the manufacturing process. In accordance with EN 15804+A2, capital goods (machinery, buildings and production infrastructure) and employee transportation were excluded from the assessment. 1 2026 2031 "2026-08-12" - "2031-08-12" 2026-08-12 - - Cold-formed precision steel sections (Figure 2) are steel products characterized by high dimensional accuracy and excellent surface quality, intended for applications requiring precise dimensional tolerances. They are manufactured from cold-rolled steel strip. Round precision sections are produced from steel with thicknesses starting from 0.6 mm, while square, rectangular and oval sections are produced from steel with thicknesses starting from 0.8 mm. The product range includes round, square, rectangular, oval and special sections in a wide variety of dimensions. Typical applications include the automotive, furniture and general engineering industries. Pickled hot-rolled precision steel sections are steel products characterized by high dimensional accuracy and good surface quality. They are manufactured from pickled hot-rolled steel strip. The pickled surface provides a suitable base for further processing or coating. The product range includes sections in a wide variety of cross-sectional shapes and dimensions. Typical applications include the automotive, furniture and general engineering industries. Continuously galvanized precision steel sections are steel products manufactured from continuously galvanized steel strip, providing enhanced corrosion resistance due to the zinc coating. Available in a wide variety of cross-sectional shapes and dimensions, they combine high dimensional accuracy with excellent surface quality. Typical applications include the automotive, furniture and general engineering industries, particularly where increased corrosion resistance and durability are required. The assessment includes the consumption of raw materials, energy and water, as well as emissions to air, water and soil and waste generated within the declared system boundary.
